From a One-Man Operation to a Global Logistics Partner

Humble Beginnings
Founder Mike Shuaibi established the company while working remotely, assisting international buyers with purchasing used heavy equipment. From deal negotiation to coordinating inland transport, shipping, and document processing—Mike handled it all, building trust with clients around the world.

Ocean Freight Collaboration
Mike moved into a shared office in Alsip, IL, subleasing space from an ocean freight company. This strategic move allowed him to stay close to the booking and shipping process while teaming up with logistics professionals to enhance communication and processing times.

First Yard & Loading Operation
The Alsip location expanded to include 3,000 sq. ft. of outdoor space, where equipment could be stored and loaded into containers. This allowed the company to handle end-to-end logistics—from purchase to export—under one roof.

Expansion to Crestwood, IL
With business growing rapidly, International Equipment Sales Co. moved into a 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Crestwood, IL. The larger facility supported bulk purchases and full-service global equipment shipping. It became the hub for sourcing, prepping, and dispatching equipment worldwide.

Full-Service Transloading & Logistics
In 2024, the company launched its own transloading facility through a strategic joint venture. With this new expansion, it began securing direct ocean freight and outbound shipping contracts, positioning itself as a complete logistics partner capable of handling containerizing, inland hauling, and global shipping.
